Vantage Systems supplies and installs the full Matrix SATATYA turret IP camera range in Bangalore and across India. Turret cameras (sometimes called eyeball cameras) sit between bullet and dome — easy to aim like a bullet, low-profile like a dome, and without the dome bubble that causes infra-red glare at night. They are a strong default for mixed indoor/outdoor use.

Made in India

Matrix Comsec has designed and manufactured in India since 1991 — headquartered in Vadodara, Gujarat, with its manufacturing facility at Waghodia and a DSIR-recognised in-house R&D operation. Matrix states its products are “entirely conceived, designed, and manufactured within India”. For you that means an Indian spares and firmware-support chain rather than an import-only channel — and it helps satisfy the Make-in-India / local-content preferences that many government, PSU and enterprise tenders now carry.

The MITR models are infra-red; the MITC models are Matrix’s All Color turrets, which hold a colour image in low light. The SITW models are listed because we supply them, but their specifications are not in Matrix’s published catalogue — so rather than guess, we confirm those on quote. Ask for the datasheet for any model.

Why buy from Vantage Systems

  • We survey before we quote — we map blind spots and tell you how many cameras you actually need — not a padded bill of materials
  • Right model per zone — the same family covers 2MP to 8MP and several lens options; picking wrong wastes money or misses faces
  • One security stack — CCTV, Matrix COSEC access control and telephony integrated by one Bangalore team
  • Made in India supply chain — Indian manufacturing means local spares and firmware support, not a 12-week import wait
  • Installed and maintained — professional installation, commissioning and AMC — we do not drop-ship boxes

Matrix SATATYA turret camera range — frequently asked questions

Why choose a turret over a dome?
Mainly night performance. A dome’s clear bubble can bounce the camera’s own infra-red light back into the lens and wash out the picture. A turret has no bubble, so night images stay cleaner. It is also quicker to aim.
What is the difference between the MITR and MITC models?
This is the one worth knowing. The MITR models are standard infra-red — at night they switch to a black-and-white picture, like most cameras. The MITC models are Matrix’s All Color turrets: they carry a warm white supplement light and keep giving you a colour image in low light. That matters more than it sounds — a jacket described as “dark” on a mono clip is a lot more useful when the footage shows it was red.
Can turret cameras go outside?
In sheltered outdoor positions, yes — under eaves, in covered parking or on a porch. For an exposed boundary wall we would still put a bullet camera there.
What do CWP and CWS mean at the end of the model number?
That last letter is the one people miss, and it changes what you get. Matrix defines P as Premium and S as Standard: the Premium (CWP) models add two-way audio and digital input/output, the Standard (CWS) models do not. So if you want to speak through the camera, or wire it to an alarm or a siren, you need a CWP. If you only ever want to watch and record, a CWS does the job for less. It is worth checking before you order — the part numbers differ by one letter.
Is Matrix made in India?
Yes — Matrix Comsec is an Indian manufacturer, which means local spares, local firmware support and shorter replacement cycles, and it helps satisfy Make-in-India and local-content preferences in government and enterprise tenders.
What does a Matrix camera cost in India?
Matrix cameras are supplied on a quote basis with a GST invoice — price depends on the model, resolution, lens and how many you need, plus the NVR and storage. Send us the site details on WhatsApp and we will send a current quote.
Do you install and maintain it, or only supply?
Both — Vantage Systems is an AV and security integrator. We survey the site, supply the hardware, install and commission it, and provide AMC across Bangalore and pan-India.
