A publicly listed Indian textile and home-furnishings major runs design reviews, buyer presentations and global mill calls out of the same Bangalore HQ — and the AV in those rooms has to do all three jobs without a fight. Passive TVs can’t keep up with designers who want to annotate over fabric mood-boards. A publicly listed Indian textile and home-furnishings leader runs its design and customer-facing operations out of a Bangalore HQ that serves two very different workflows in the same strategy rooms — design reviews with the in-house creative team, where stylists annotate over fabric layouts, weave patterns and seasonal mood-boards, and global mill, sourcing and buyer calls, where the team dials into mill floors and overseas customers on video.
A passive 4K TV can show a mood-board — but it can’t be drawn on. The design team kept printing fabric concepts because the screen was effectively a one-way display. At the same time, the same room had to double as a video conferencing space for global mill calls, which a TV plus laptop combo handled badly. The HQ needed one screen that handled both jobs cleanly — an interactive 4K display for design work plus a proper VC bar built into the same room.
Designers needed to write on the screen
Mood-board reviews demand annotate-over-image — colourway notes, weave call-outs, finishing instructions. A passive TV is a viewer. An interactive 4K touch display is a workspace.
Global mill and customer calls from the same room
The strategy room also had to double as a VC suite for global mill, sourcing and buyer calls. A separate VC stack was clutter the room couldn’t afford.
One mount, one cable, clean install
65″ interactive panels are heavy and thin — the wall mount has to hold weight and tilt without sagging, and the install had to disappear into the HQ interior with no exposed boxes.

Vantage Systems specified the stack as three integrated layers on a single 65″ Newline panel — the Newline TT-6522S 4K interactive display as the workspace, a Newline OPS Windows PC module slot-loaded into the back of the same panel (so designers get a full Windows desktop with zero external cables), and a Poly Studio P15 4K VC bar mounted with the display for global mill and buyer calls.
